Registration Fees and Details

There are two registration options for this collaborative event:

• Science Leaders: Open to all science education leaders including positional or experiential leadership, TOSAs, instructional coach, county leaders. Please use the general registration link to secure your spot.
  • Registration fees are as follows:
  • Science Leaders Day (Conference Registration Required) - $150
  • Science Leaders Day Only - $215
    
    
• SCOP Convening: If you are a part of a Local Implementation Team, please connect with your County Office of Education (COE) lead to obtain the registration link sent in mid-August.
  • Registration fees are as follows:
  • SCOP/Conference Bundle - $400 (if already a CASE member, $370)
  • SCOP Only - $150

To ensure accurate registration for all SCOP Implementation Team members, please coordinate with your COE lead to receive the unique link designated for your team.

In collaboration with CAL-MSCS Science Leadership, we are excited to invite you to a special day of learning, sharing, and networking for science education leaders! This unique event brings together local implementation teams from the CAL-MSCS Science Community of Practice (SCOP) and other passionate science leaders for a day filled with insightful discussions, collaborative sessions, and opportunities to connect.

• Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024
• Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
• Location: Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel

What to Expect:

• Shared Sessions: Join all attendees for an engaging opening and closing session to set the stage for the day and wrap up with shared insights.
• Tailored Breakouts: Participate in breakout sessions specific to your role and interests. SCOP sessions will focus on advancing local implementation team action plans and goals, while science leaders can engage in sessions on broader topics relevant to their work.
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with peers during shared breaks and discussions to foster new relationships and ongoing collaborations.

Whether you are a part of an SCOP local implementation team, or a science leader eager to learn and share, this event is designed to provide valuable insights and connections.
