CSTA will accept proposals from confirmed exhibitors for exhibitor workshops for the 2018 California Science Education Conference in Pasadena beginning June 5, 2018. Only confirmed exhibitors may present a exhibitor workshop. Proposals from non-exhibiting companies will not be considered. Exhibit booth reservations can be made online.

Please read the information on this page fully before you begin the proposal process. All exhibitor workshops will be reviewed and scored based on the proposal rubric. After being scored, proposals will be accepted on a variety of factors including proposal score, confirmed status of the exhibiting company, number of proposals received and number of workshop slots available, and workshop content.

Exhibitor Workshop Proposal Submission Guidelines

Exhibitor workshops are 90-minutes in length. Exhibitor workshops are held concurrently with non-exhibitor workshops on the Friday and Saturday of the conference. Exhibitor workshop rooms are set classroom style with 6' - 8' tables and chairs.

There is no compensation for exhibitor workshop presenters. Exhibitor workshop presenters will be provided with a badge as an exhibitor only. Exhibitor workshop presenters will not be issued a separate conference presenter badge.

Exhibitor workshop presenters are NOT reimbursed for the cost of materials used in their session, nor are they reimbursed for meals, airfare, lodging, or any other travel-related expenses.

The lead presenter is the person submitting the proposal. The lead presenter will have the opportunity to add one co-presenter to the workshop description before the program is printed. The co-presenter is listed in the program but does not receive any compensation or correspondence from CSTA. The co-presenter must also be included in the list of booth staff for the exhibiting company.

Exhibitor workshop proposals must be submitted by July 16, 2018 . Late submissions will be considered on a space-available basis but may not appear in the conference registration or promotional materials. All proposals will be evaluated by the review committee and not all proposals will be accepted. Please note that we receive many more proposals than we are able to accept.
